DISCOVERY MOROCCO

Day 1 : Sunday; Casablanca-Rabat (100Km)
Arrival to Mohamed V Airport in Casablanca. Assistance and transfer to Casablanca for sightseeing tour. Optional lunch in Mohammedia. Continue to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. PM at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 : Monday : Rabat-Moulay Idriss-Volubilis-Meknes-Fès (200Km)
After breakfast, the sightseeing of the “Imperial garden city” begins with the Casbah of Oudayas, Hassan Tower and walls of the Mechouar surrounding the Royal Palace.
Before getting to Meknes, a brief visit of Moulay Idriss, a sacred Islamic town, going through the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Optional lunch. Sightseeing of Meknes “Moroccan Versailles” : Town founded in the 17th century by king Moulay Ismael. Dinner and overnight stay in Fes.

Day 3 :  Tuesday : Fes
After breakfast, sightseeing all day. Fes in the oldest imperial city : visit of the medieval Medina and religious Islamic centers and university namely the Medersas, the Karaouine Mosque and University (The oldest in the world) as well as the Nejjarin Fountain. PM : Sightseeing of the famous souks of Fes. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 :  Wednesday : Fes-Erfoud ; (462 Km)
Departure via the Middle-Atlas Mountains, passing by Ifrane and Azrou : an important handicraft centre. Stop at Midelt for optional lunch. Continuation to Erfoud . Visit of the Blue Meski. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Erfoud.

Day 5 :  Thursday - Erfoud :
Morning at leisure. PM excursion to Rissani : The capital of the Tafilalet where the Alaouites dynasty ancestors are buried.
Visit of the 17th century Kasbah and the imposing ruins of Ksar Abbar. Optional excursions to Merzouga for sunset or bivouac & Mehari (see options)

4 OPTIONS :
1) Sunset and return to the hotel. Arrival in Land-Rover at the sand dunes, attending the sunset and drinking tea. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.
2) 1 night Bivouac Arrival at Merzouga dunes in Land-Rovers, attending sunset. Dinner and overnight under nomadic tents (according to the Bedouin way of life)
3) Camel riding (Mehari) One night in the sand dunes and Camel riding (according to the Bedouin way of life).
4) Stay and dinner at hotel

Day 6 : Friday : Erfoud-Tinghir-El Kelaa-Ouarzazate(370Km)
Morning departure to Tinghir via Tinejdad road with its magnificent Kasbahs. Optional lunch. Visit of the Todra canyons. Continuation to El Kelaa through the Dades Valey. Short sightseeing of El Kelaa (roses Festival in May). departure to Ouarzazate through the road of thousands Kasbahs. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 7 :  Saturday : Ouarzazate
Optional excursion to Zagora - M'Hamid & sunset at Tinfou (Without supplement). Day at leisure or whole day excursion to Zagora, Draa Valey and the village of Amzrou (an old jewish village). Visit of M'hamid, the last settlement before the Sahara. Return to Ouarzazate with a stop at Tinfou for relaxing and walk on the sand dunes attending the sunset. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 8 : Sunday : Ouarzazate-Marrakech (210)
Visit of Ouarzazate including Tiffeltout and Taourirt Kasbahs. Departure to the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou, the most spectacular fortress in the south of Morocco. Optional lunch. Continuation to Marrakech through the Tichka pass (2260m). Dinner and ovrenight.

Day 9 : Monday : Marrakech.
After breakfast, a whole day sightseeing tour around the city. Marrakech is the “pearl of the south” founded by the Almoravides dynasty at the end of the 12 Century. Morning discovery of the souks of Marrakech an the Djemaa El Fna square. Lunch at hotel. PM visit to Saadyines Tombs, Dar Si Said museum Menara and Agdal gardens, the Koutoubia, and the Bahia Palace. Optional Dinner in a typical Moroccan restaurant with folklore show.

Day 10 : ( Option 10 Days ) .  Departure day from  Marrakech Airport
Tuesday : Marrakech Day at leisure in Marrakech. Optional excursions in the region of this city. Dinner and overnight.

Day 11 :  Wednesday : Marrakech
Day at leisure in Marrakech. Optional excursions in the region this city. Dinner and overnight.

Day 12 :  ( Option 12 Days ) Departure from Marrakech airport
Thursday : Marrakech-Essaouira (175 Km) Breakfast. Departure to Essaouira, famously called “Mogador”. Optional lunch. PM : Visit of the “Scala”, the sea-port and the Medina. Dinner and overnight.

Day 13 : Friday : Essaouira-Safi-El Jadida-Casablanca (350 Km)
Breakfast. Departure to Safi. Visit of the Portuguese Sea-Castle, the Pottery's hill and continuation to Oualidia. Optional lunch in Oualidia (Seaside resort) famous with its Oyster-Farming. PM : continuation to El Jadida, once called “Mazagan” by the Portuguese. Short visit and drive to Casablanca. Dinner and overnight.

Day 14 :  Saturday : Casablanca
Breakfast. Transfer to the Airport. Assistance and back home Flight.
